We welcome you to Calvary Christian Reformed Church of Orange City, Iowa! Whether you're just visiting, looking for a 'church home', exploring the Christian faith or worshipping as a part of this local body of believers - we're glad you are here! Our goal is to affirm the supreme "worth-ship" of God, who knows us thoroughly, and loves us dearly.
We are here to praise God, to confess our wrongs, to seek God's pardon, to receive instruction from God's written Word, to meet with the living Word, our Lord Jesus Christ, & to enjoy each other's presence
Calvary strives to be a loving family, in which members experience intimacy with God and growth in Christian living
Our Mission is to Glorify God, to Equip Believers, and to Lead Seekers.
The Christian Reformed Church (CRC) includes just over one thousand congregations across the United States and Canada. About 75 percent of the churches are in the United States; 25 percent are in Canada. We’re one of only a few binational denominations: rather than split into different churches at the 49th parallel, we’re united.
As people called by God,
We gather to praise God, listen to him, and respond.
We nurture each other in faith and obedience to Christ.
We love and care for one another as God's people.
We commit ourselves to serve and to tell others about Jesus.
We pursue God's justice and peace in every area of life.
The Christian Reformed Church is a diverse family of healthy congregations, assemblies, and ministries expressing the good news of God’s kingdom that transforms lives and communities worldwide.

Dear members and friends of Calvary,
This Sunday, June 7, we would like to invite the following to our 9:30 AM worship service: (with the rests of our members worshiping online)
1. All of Care Groups 1, 2 and 3
2. All of the elders, deacons and shepherds and their families
3. All of the elder/deacon nominees and their families (we will be choosing the replacement elders and deacons in the AM service)
4. Families of anyone involved in the service (praise team, media, piano, etc.….)
Anyone in the above groups may join for worship at Calvary this coming Sunday morning assuming they are comfortable doing so, are in good health, and are aware that coming to any worship service means they have the potential risk of exposure to the coronavirus. If anyone we’ve invited is part of the high-risk groups due to age or underlying conditions, they should continue to worship from home on livestream.
There are a couple of changes we are making for this Sunday:
We will move to use of every other row in the sanctuary (the past has been every third row)
We will be more diligent in asking members to move outside after the worship service rather than congregate in the narthex
We will have more chairs available in the narthex as we expect larger attendance
For the PM service we invite all members/Care Groups to join worship (5 PM) at the Alton Roadside Park who are feeling well and are not part of a high risk group. The installation of the new elders and deacons will happen at this PM service.
